About Tahfidh Institute

Alhamdulillah, Tahfīdh Institute was born from a simple but profound conviction that every Muslim child deserves the opportunity to carry the Words of Allah in their heart.
What began as a vision to serve the local Muslim community in Toronto has grown into a dedicated institution committed to nurturing our students. From the very beginning, our focus has never simply been on memorization alone. We believed that a true Hāfidh is not only someone who memorizes the Qur’an but someone whose character reflects it.
Rooted in the principles of Itqaan and Tarbiyah, Tahfīdh Institute was built on the understanding that the Qur’an is not just to be memorized it is to be lived. Every class, every revision, and every interaction within our walls is guided by this belief. Sharing in this mission is Co-Founder and teacher Ustaadha Nada, who brings years of experience teaching women and children across the GTA with intention, patience, and a deep love for the Qur’an.
Today, Tahfīdh Institute offers Full-Time and Weekend Hifdh programs, serving students from across the Greater Toronto Area. Our students are not just memorizing they are being shaped into future scholars, leaders, and torchbearers of this Deen.

Boys Full-Time Hifdh and Academics
Where Qur’an Memorization Meets Academic Excellence. This in-person program at QSSC MASJID covers Hifdh, Review, Tajweed Application, and Fundamental Islamic Studies (Fiqh, Hadith, Aqeedah) alongside Academic Subjects for grades 2 – 8. Additionally, our Full-Time Boys Hifdh Program with Academics is offered at $300/month.

Weekend Hifdh (2026-2027)
The perfect start to your child’s Hifdh journey. In-person classes at QSSC Masjid for boys and girls (ages 7-15). This program covers Hifdh, Tajweed, & Fiqh. Prerequisite: Must be able to read from Mus’haf. Tuition: $100/month.

Boys Online Review for Huffaadh
This class is designed for those seeking to strengthen their hifdh, revision, and tajweed during the week at a part-time capacity. Classes are held via Zoom. Tuition: $100.00/month.
Ustadh Fahim Mannan
Ustadh Fahim Mannan has dedicated over 15 years of his life, by the Mercy and Permission of Allah, to teaching Qur’an across multiple Islamic institutions in the Greater Toronto Area. As Co-Founder and Lead Teacher of Tahfidh Institute, he strives to ensure that every student who walks through the doors of Tahfidh Institute leaves as a true carrier of the Qur’an.
Ustaadha Nada
Ustaadha Nada is a Qur’an teacher who has been teaching women and children, by the Mercy and Permission of Allah, for over four years across various Islamic institutions and communities in the Greater Toronto Area. As Co-Founder of Tahfidh Institute, she brings both care and expertise to her role, fostering an interactive environment for students designed with intention, patience, and a deep love for the Qur’an.

Weekend Hifdh
Join us at QSSC Masjid on Saturdays and Sundays (11:00 AM – 2:00 PM) for comprehensive memorization, Tajweed, and Fiqh. Open to boys and girls, ages 7–15.
Expert Instruction
Learn under the dedicated guidance of Ustadh Fahim Mannan. Our structured classes ensure personalized attention, consistent weekly portions, and continuous progress.
Online Review (Huffaadh)
A dedicated Zoom program for boys (Ages 7+) running Monday through Thursday (4:00 PM – 6:00 PM), focusing on daily guided revision and Tajweed correction.
